In cold weather, ensure the coolant mixture provides adequate freeze protection and check the battery charge level, as cold temperatures reduce cranking power. Drain the fuel water separator daily to prevent ice formation in the fuel lines. In dusty environments, check the air filter restriction indicator more frequently and replace the outer element at 1000 hours. Inspect the undercarriage for mud buildup that can increase track tension and cause premature wear. Verify that the hydraulic oil cooler fins are clear of debris to maintain optimal operating temperatures in high ambient heat.
