Monitor engine oil, hydraulic oil, and axle oil levels at every 10-hour interval. Use JCB Engine Oil Special or equivalent 15W-40 diesel oil meeting API specs. Check hydraulic return filter magnet for metallic debris at 500-hour intervals. Inspect coolant concentration and condition at 1000-hour intervals. Track fuel filter restriction to prevent injector damage on the Perkins 403-15 engine. Verify hydraulic system relief valve pressure at 207 bar (3003 psi) during major services.

Address track sag and roller wear on the 803 Super's undercarriage. Replace worn track shoes and check sprocket teeth for hooking. Inspect boom, arm, and bucket pins for elongation. Check hydraulic hose chafing at the kingpost and boom pivot. Replace worn cutting edge and teeth on the bucket. Inspect the alternator and starter motor connections for corrosion. Verify servo hand controller function and linkage adjustment.

Inspect the Perkins 403-15 engine timing gear case and oil pump assembly. Check the fuel injection pump timing and injector spray pattern. Inspect the hydraulic pump for internal leakage and case drain flow. Check the slew ring bolts for torque and wear. Inspect the track gearbox oil for metal particles. Check the swing motor and slew gearbox for play. Inspect the dozer ram seals and cylinder rods for scoring.

Check glow plug operation for cold starts on the Perkins engine. Inspect the battery electrolyte level and terminal condition. Verify the fan belt tension for proper alternator and cooling fan drive. Check the cabin HVAC system for proper A/C pressure and evaporator function. Inspect the track tension to prevent slippage in muddy conditions.
