Monitor engine oil, hydraulic fluid, and coolant levels daily. Use JCB-spec engine oil and hydraulic oil to protect the Mitsubishi engine and hydrostatic transmission. Take oil samples at 500-hour intervals to detect wear metals and contamination. Check the hydraulic return filter magnet for metallic debris during service. Inspect the air filter restriction indicator to prevent engine damage. Maintain proper track or tire pressure to ensure even wear and optimal traction on turf.

Address hydraulic leaks at hose fittings and cylinder rods promptly to prevent system failure. Replace worn drive belts to avoid alternator and A/C failure. Inspect and replace fuel filters to protect the common-rail injectors. Check brake disc wear and adjust or replace as needed. Replace worn bucket teeth and cutting edges to maintain efficiency. Inspect the engine harness and electrical connections for corrosion or damage, especially in wet conditions.

At 2000 hours, perform a deep service including hydraulic oil change and tank cleaning. Inspect the hydrostatic transmission for wear and adjust pump pressures if necessary. Check the engine turbocharger shaft play and wastegate function. Inspect the swing ring and pivot points for play and wear. Measure undercarriage components for wear limits. Replace engine valves and timing components if performance drops or excessive oil consumption occurs.

In cold weather, use low-temperature hydraulic oil and ensure the cooling system is protected against freezing. In hot weather, check the radiator and charge cooler for debris and clean regularly. Store the machine under cover to protect the cab and electrical systems from UV and moisture. Inspect the battery terminals and electrolyte levels before winter. Grease all pivot points more frequently in dusty or sandy environments. Check the air filter more often in high-dust conditions.
